Judith Leijdekkers

Judith Leijdekkers practice combines social work, anthropology and design. Her work is situated in Charlois (Rotterdam), where she also lives. In collaboration with fellow residents, Judith explores the many forms of care in the context of a neighbourhood.

Judith’s graduation thesis Sporen en paden: een verzameling gesprekken over kritische pedagogiek in Nederland (Tracks and Paths: A Collection of Conversations on Critical Pedagogy in the Netherlands), which she completed in the Fine Art & Design Teacher Training (DBKV) program, focussed on critical pedagogy in Dutch Education. 

Judith is part of Teaching Design, a collaborative research project maintained and facilitated by a changing constellation of people. Since 2020, she has been part of organizing the the Conversations continued  series together with Lisa Baumgarten.
